Do hotels allow outside decoration?
Most do, if you ask first. In Lucknow, local decorators such as BalloonDekor already set up in Hazratganj and Gomti Nagar hotel rooms. Call the property and ask two questions: can we set up 30 minutes before check-in, and is confetti allowed? Some budget hotels ask for a small setup fee or deposit.
Villa Vistosa Omaxe allows outside food and decor (Brevistay, Sep 2026). For more on couple-friendly stays, see couple-friendly hotels in Lucknow and hourly rooms in Lucknow.
Avoid these in hotel rooms:
- Real candles (open flame ban)
- Helium tanks in lifts (use battery balloons)
- Confetti (cleaning fee)
- Assuming it is allowed without calling first
