Can you decorate a room for an anniversary in 15 minutes?
Yes. Skip balloons: rose petals in a heart on the bed, 6 LED candles around it, one fairy light string on the headboard. Set it up while your partner is out or in the shower, switch off the main light.
What should you avoid when decorating for an anniversary?
Four things. Helium balloons in a low-ceiling room, so pool latex ones on the floor instead. Real candles near bedding; use LED. More than two colours. Foil balloons carried without a pump, since they deflate in transit. Use removable command strips, not nails or tape.
Frequently asked questions
How much does anniversary room decoration cost at home?
About ₹480 for petals, fairy lights and 6 LED candles; about ₹800 to ₹1,000 with a balloon arch; about ₹1,500 to ₹2,500 for a foil balloon wall with fresh flowers (Blinkit and Amazon.in prices, Sep 2026).
What do I need for a simple anniversary room decoration?
One packet of rose petals, one 3m warm white fairy light string and a pack of 6 LED tea lights. That is about ₹480 and takes 15 minutes.
Are helium balloons a good idea for a bedroom?
Not in a low-ceiling room. Latex balloons pooled on the floor look as good, and a foil balloon needs a pump on site or it deflates on the way.
Can I decorate a rented flat without damaging the walls?
Yes. Many rented flats have a no-nail rule, so hang balloons and lights with removable command strips, not tape or hooks.
